The Walpole Peace and Justice Group had a booth at Walpole Day on Saturday, May 12. Thanks to the Walpole Recreation Day for a great job organizing the day, which went off fine despite the rain. Many people took our penny poll, showing how they would spend the Federal Budget if they had the choice. Ora made peace cranes and we had a visit by State Senator Paul Feeney. Bio — Savina Martin Savina Martin, Eastern Massachusetts Chair of the Poor People’s Campaign, will be the keynote speaker at the Walpole Tax Day Rally for Peace and Economic Justice on Saturday, April 14. Sponsored by the Walpole Peace and Justice Group, the rally will start at 10:00 AM on the Walpole Common at the Gazebo.
